Priest-in-Charge, St. Martin’s Church, Maidstone.
I have had the privilege of serving at St. Martin’s Church and in Maidstone Deanery since 2011 first as Curate, and later as Priest-in-Charge. In 2015 I attended a conference at Regent College, Vancouver on creation care. That was transformative and the people of St. Martin’s and I have been on the environmental journey ever since. I lead the Maidstone Deanery Environment Group and we meet regularly to share good practice. As Â鶹ÐÔ°É Environment Officer, I work across the Diocese with our Eco Champions. They are passionate about caring for creation and helping churches to gain Eco Church status. I am part of the national group of Â鶹ÐÔ°É Environment Officers.
Climate change and the Anthropocene are my areas of interest, and enabling others to engage with and respond to these challenges is a significant part of my work.
